Finance and Administration
With a multi-million pound turnover and over sixty employees Gigawave has come a long way in ten years. As the company has grown a management structure has evolved to ensure that all departments operate cohesively.

Good internal communications is essential in any company and today the Chairman and Senior Management Team meet on a regular basis to exchange information, set targets and review performance. It is the responsibility of senior management to ensure that company policy is conveyed to the various departments within the company.

The sixty engineers and other personnel employed by Gigawave are the company's most important resource. Without their loyalty, experience and skills the company would not be where it is today. Some engineers came to Gigawave with a lifetime of experience, others joined the company straight from school and have been trained in-house.

From time to time Gigawave production staff are sent out on site to gain first hand experience of Gigawave products in use at events around the world. This gives factory-based personnel an opportunity to see the fruits of their labours and to appreciate the practical problems that customers face.

Gigawave is still a privately owned company without any external financial support other than traditional lines of credit with its bankers. Today the company has little or no debt and has funded the development of its new range of digital products including the D-Cam wireless camera system through turnover.
